Soccer Curve challenges you to bend free kicks past defenders, read the wind, beat the goalkeeper, and score spectacular goals with precise shots.
Step Onto the Pitch
Soccer Curve transports you to a simple yet vibrant 2D pitch, featuring a striped turf, white goalposts, and a defensive wall standing guard. The goalkeeper is always ready to make a save. Three players FIRE, UFO, and VIEW offer different shooting options. Goals are highlighted with celebration animations and a replay feature to review your shot.
Shape the Perfect Free Kick
Each turn begins by positioning your player within the designated area. You must then consider power, height, curve, and wind speed before taking your shot. "Score" mode offers 81 challenges to practice and earn points. "League" takes you through a schedule of matches against various clubs, while "Cup" launches a 16-team knockout tournament. In both modes, each side gets up to five kicks, proceeding to sudden death if the score remains tied.
Quick Control
- Mouse: Hold and drag the player to position them, then release to shoot.
- Arrow Keys: Adjust position (desktop).
- Space: Kick the ball or proceed after the result.
- 1 / 2 / 3: Switch between the three players.
- P / Esc: Pause.
- M: Toggle sound on/off.
- Mobile: Drag the player with your finger and use on-screen buttons.
Tricks for Better Scores
Don't rely solely on shooting power. Look for gaps above or to the sides of the defensive wall and choose the right angle. When the wind is strong, adjust your aim in the opposite direction to compensate for the drift. FIRE is best for powerful shots, while UFO is ideal for unpredictable, curving shots. Use the Replay feature to review the ball's trajectory and identify areas for improvement on your next attempt.
