Wave Race turns each flight into a precision test, guiding a geometric arrow through tight gaps, sharp obstacles, and twisting courses to set new records.
A Journey Through Geometry
Wave Race features minimalist 2D graphics with bold shapes and colors, creating a track that is both clean and easy to read. The protagonist is a small arrow constantly moving forward. Along the journey, walls, spikes, spinning gears, ramps, and narrow gaps appear in quick succession, meaning any section could potentially end your run.
Master the Moving Route
You cannot directly steer the arrow's horizontal direction; instead, you control its vertical position. Press a key to make the character rise, then release to descend and navigate through safe gaps. The "Classic" mode features 33 levels of increasing difficulty. "Endless" is perfect for setting distance records, while "Race" pits you against other arrows. Completing the course without crashing is the key to progressing far and achieving a high score.

Tips for Better Runs
Look ahead at the path rather than reacting only when obstacles are right in front of you. Adjust your altitude early before approaching narrow gaps and maintain a steady rhythm. You can utilize checkpoints to practice specific, difficult sections. When the path becomes cluttered with obstacles, making short, controlled inputs is often better than holding the key down for too long.
