THROW THE BASKETBALL WITH MOMENTUM

Drunk Basket asks each side to score more baskets than the opponent while controlling characters with unstable balance and wobbly limbs. Contact with the ball begins the shooting sequence but pinned hands prevent conventional ball handling. Body position and momentum determine how a character reaches the ball and sends it toward the hoop.

Charge Each Shot

  • Player 1 uses the W to throw and charge power.
  • Player 2 uses the Up Arrow to throw and charge power.

After touching the ball hold the assigned key to charge the shot then release it to launch the basketball toward the hoop. The charge action gives each shot a timing step after possession begins. Releasing too soon changes when the ball is launched while holding the input longer continues the charge. Reaching the ball first is important because the opponent can use body blocking to interrupt possession and contest a shot.

BALANCE AND BODY POSITIONING

The characters move through the court with loose limbs and uneven balance. This means movement is based on body positioning and momentum rather than direct handling of the ball. A character can block an opponent with their body while trying to reach the next possession.

Drunk Basket turns this movement system into the main part of each match. The objective stays simple but the route to the hoop changes as characters fall, shift and collide around the ball. A shot only becomes available after contact so each possession begins with a contest for position.

Court Rules That Change Rounds

Random modifiers adjust the court conditions from round to round. Low Gravity makes characters float while chasing the basketball. Oversized Basketballs add giant balls to the possession and Bouncy Courts create rebounds that can travel across the full court.

Varying Hoop Heights change the target for each shot. These conditions require the throw to be adjusted for the current court rather than treated the same way in every round. The changing rules affect movement rebounds and the path of the basketball after release.

SOLO AND TWO PLAYER MATCHES

One player mode places you against the AI. Two player mode creates the same device matches with one control key assigned to each side. Both modes use the same goal of scoring more baskets while using the unstable character movement and charged throwing system.

The different match types allow either a solo game or a direct contest between two participants. Random round modifiers can appear in either structure which keeps the court conditions connected to each new match.

Costumes From Match Coins

Coins earned from baskets and match victories can be spent in the shop. Default outfits are available alongside locked premium costumes. Shark suits, alien masks and double stacked piggyback characters are among the cosmetic styles that can be viewed with the interactive menu arrows.

Unlocked styles remain available for both character skins. This gives coins a use beyond the score by adding new costume choices after matches. Drunk Basket combines its basket scoring goal with movable ragdoll characters changing court rules and collectible outfits.
