Game Overview
MLB Home Run Derby brings the vibrant atmosphere of the prestigious home run tournament before the All-Star Game. The graphics are designed in a modern sports style, featuring a large stadium with packed stands. Players can choose one of six professional players, each with their own unique swing style and feel. Focus entirely on powerful shots, where every second counts.
Gameplay
You have exactly one minute to hit as many home runs as possible. Time your shots perfectly when the ball is within the strike zone to create the strongest possible hit. The clock only starts ticking after the first shot, allowing you ample time to prepare. Each shot that sends the ball 440 feet or more adds 10 precious seconds. When time runs out, the game calculates the total distance of all your home runs, which is your score and allows you to break your personal record.
