Orbit Rush immerses players in a minimalist space setting with a small planet orbiting a massive black hole at its center. The streamlined graphics focus on light contrast and orbital motion, making it easy to recognize approaching danger. There are no complex maps or lengthy storylines; everything revolves around gravitational pull and the constantly changing obstacles such as meteorites or objects flying across its orbit. The game's pace gradually increases over time, creating a distinct sense of tension.
Gameplay
You control the planet, maintaining a safe distance from the black hole. Hold down the button to push away, release to be pulled towards the center. The closer you fly to the black hole, the faster your score increases, but the risk also increases. Collisions with obstacles or falling into the gravitational pull will end the turn. To achieve a high score, you must maintain a "controlled danger" state for as long as possible.
